All joking aside for a second, Randy Crawford and his son, Brian, are metal fabricators who just aren’t satisfied with the status quo. Even though a lot of people aren’t, these two have the metal skills and welding common sense to do something about it. That’s how Texas Star Outdoors LLC got started. Today, they’re the obsessive two behind the Original Crawdaddy Cooker, AKA Cajun coffin and other clever names owners call their crawfish boilers on the internet.
The Humble Beginning of Texas Star Outdoor
Texas Star Outdoors is a locally owned family business whose founders possess an insane amount of love for the great outdoors. This father and son business venture represents their 50 years of combined experience in the fabricating industry. Their foray into the world of outdoor cooking resulted in a lot of experimenting with metal, bending it, welding it, redesigning and ultimately, the Original Crawdaddy Cooker, the easiest-to-use, coolest-looking, lifetime-lasting, handcrafted crawfish boiler to ever come out of Texas.
We hope the crawfish cooker brings as much joy and as many memories hanging out in the yard with friends and family as it has us.
The hard part—designing and handcrafted a crawfish boiler you can pass down to the kids—is done.
